SAPPHIRE®CARAT is distinguished by a compressible intermediate layer that guarantees outstanding printing results and a long service life. Extremely low dot gain and excellent contrast values are achieved with the micro-ground surface and split surface layer.
TOPAZ®CARAT is a universal 4-ply printing blanket of exceptional durability. Topaz CARAT is distinguished by a new compressible intermediate layer that, together with the highly resistant surface layer, guarantees a long service life and outstanding printing results.
AQUAMARINE®CARAT has been specially developed for packaging and metal printing, but is also ideal for all other kinds of printed materials using the sheet-fed offset process. Aquamarine®CARAT is distinguished by a carcass design which reduces elongation and sinking to a minimum.
RUBY®CARAT UV is the leading product in modern offset printing and has made an excellent name for itself in more than 90 countries around the world. In addition to its UV-resistant surface, Ruby®CARAT is distinguished by a compressible intermediate layer that guarantees outstanding printing results and a long service life.
AMARANTH®Web is the innovative solution for modern heatset printing. The product delivers a distinctively uniform and stable gap-to-gap impression performance. Amaranth web far exceeds service life expectations in heatset production and, in doing so, makes a major contribution to customer productivity.
Coating Blankets

CANYON® -AQ Coating There is an increasing trend towards the use of varnishing blankets on sheet-fed presses. For this application we have developed CANYON®, a blanket that meets all requirements for spot and full-surface coating. The compressible layer guarantees easy, perfect cutting – whether this is done manually or using a plotter. The specially developed 4-ply carcass guarantees the continuous use of CANYON®.

The PHOENIX CARAT Series blankets all have exceptional printing Properties. Distinguished awards for outstanding printed products have been won all over the world with these printing blankets.

In addition to its exceptional printing properties, the CARAT Series is also distinguished by the following features:

  • The use of new chemicals in the compressible layer. Compressibility is adjusted according to the application in question, variation is negligible.
  • A new chemical additive in the surface layer improves ink transfer and keeps the dot gain within the narrowest tolerances. This is why the PHOENIX CARAT Series is also recommended for CtP applications and FM screen printing.
  • Blankets undergo additional heat treatment. This facilitates even tighter thickness tolerances and minimises setting behaviour.
  • Thanks to a specially developed fabric pre-treatment process, consistently low elongation values are achieved without the fabric being damaged
